Warehouse - Sorting/Organizing/Cleaning, 1pm-3:30pm

Description

Examples of Possible Volunteer Projects:

  • Wiping down inventory so it’s ready to be used in the Kitchens or by Guests
  • Dusting shelves and containers, wiping down refrigerators inside and out, sweeping or mopping all to help keep donations clean and ready for Guests
  • Cleaning barrels, pallets, milk crates & plastic totes
  • Deep cleaning around the Ministry Center/Warehouse
  • Bale/Sorting items to remove older ones and replace them with new items and for seasonal changes
  • Checking food and medication for expiration dates
  • Sorting donations and filling orders
  • Matching items and bagging/rubber banding them
  • Folding towels, sheets, and clothing Inventory counts of food, hygiene, seasonal items, etc.


What projects are currently needed varies, but all play important roles in preparing donations to be used!  

Dress Code: Please wear close-toed shoes and comfortable but respectful clothing that can get dirty.
