Who We Are
Regardless of where women are coming from, whether homeless, escaping a domestic violence situation, addicted, or struggling, all women and their families are welcome to City Light Home for Women and Children. Here at the Mission, we will never turn anyone away for food or a clean bed due to a lack of space.
City Light Home for Women & Children is a ministry of Boise Rescue Mission Ministries. Located in Boise, ID, on W. Jefferson St., this shelter serves homeless women and children across the Treasure Valley area.
What We Do
At City Light, a Women’s and Children’s Shelter in Boise, we offer a safe haven of hope and love by providing emergency services such as meals, shelter, and clothing, as well as education, work-search assistance, mental health counseling, addiction recovery through the New Life Program, and children’s programs. Through the ministry of City Light, Boise Rescue Mission Ministries has been providing help for homeless women and children in Boise, Idaho, since 2000.
